We don't issue visas ourselves (Tanzania's e-visa is applied for directly with the government), but we'll tell you exactly what you need for your nationality. Airport pickup is included in every safari package.

For peak months (June–October, and the December–February Kilimanjaro window), 6–9 months ahead is safest — camps and mountain permits do sell out. Shoulder-season trips (April–May, November) can often be booked 6–8 weeks out.

A deposit secures your dates, with the balance due before arrival — exact terms depend on the season and whether your trip includes third-party permits (like Kilimanjaro). We'll send written terms with every quote before you pay anything.

A maximum of 6 guests per Land Cruiser, so everyone gets a window seat — we never combine unrelated groups into one vehicle unless you specifically book a shared group departure.

No technical climbing skills are required on any standard route — it's a long, high-altitude trek, not a technical ascent. Cardiovascular fitness and pacing matter far more than prior experience.

Tanzania requires proof of yellow fever vaccination if arriving from a country with risk of transmission. Speak to a travel clinic 4–6 weeks before departure about this and malaria prophylaxis — we're not medical professionals, so this is a conversation for your doctor.

Yes — our safaris and climbs run with a dedicated guide throughout, and solo travelers are common on our group departures and private trips alike. Standard travel-safety awareness applies as it would anywhere.

Every guide is trained to recognize when to end an activity and evacuate. On Kilimanjaro specifically, guides carry oxygen and are trained to make the descend decision immediately without waiting for guest approval. We strongly recommend travel insurance that includes medical evacuation.
